DA - IICT, a UGC recognised university, is a major educational and
research institution of the Reliance ADAG. Highly qualified faculty,
supported by state - of - the - art e - enabled infrastructure brings
research - led teaching to the classroom.
The Four - Year B Tech Program is unique in the emphasis it lays on
the convergence of information and communication technologies and
their interface with other disciplines. The Institute also offers
masters and doctoral level programs. The students of the first two
batches of B Tech program have been placed in leading ICT companies.

Admission Announcement 2009-10

research institution of Reliance ADAG. The institute is inviting
applications from eligible candidates for admission to the following
courses starting July, 2009
Undergraduate Program
B Tech (Information and Communication Technology)
Eligibility: Candidates should be
● a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and
Chemistry/Computer Science
● born on or after 01 October 1984
● appear in AIEEE 2009 examination being conducted by CBSE on 26 April 2009
● submit a separate application to DA-IICT in the prescribed Application Form

DAIICT Selection Process:
Short-listed candidates will be called for counseling at DA-IICT and
selection for admission will be based on the All India Rank of AIEEE
2009. Details are available at DA-IICT website
A limited number of seats will be offered through a separate channel
called 'Direct Admission of Foreign and NRI Students' (DAFS) to Non
Resident Indians, Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin.
How to apply: The DA-IICT application form will be made available
through the following channels:
● At selected branches of Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank), as given
below, by paying Rs 800/-
● Sending a demand draft of Rs 850/- to the Institute. The draft
should be in favour of DA-IICT and payable at Ahmedabad.
● Apply online at http://www.daiict.ac.in by making an online payment
(through credit card) of Rs 800/-
Scholarships: DA-IICT offers merit and merit-cum-means scholarships
for BTech students. In each category five students are awarded
scholarships equivalent to full tuition fees.
Postgraduate Programs
M.Tech (Information and Communication Technology)
Eligibility: BE/B. Tech/M. Sc in ICT/CS/IT/EE/ECE/I&C or equivalent
M.Sc (Information Technology)
Eligibility: Graduates of any discipline as given in the website
M.Sc (ICT in Agriculture and Rural Development)
Eligibility: Bachelor in Agriculture of allied disciplines
M.Des (Multimedia)
Eligibility: 4 Years Degree/Diploma after 10+2
Doctor of Philosophy
Eligibility: M. Tech/M. Phil/BE/ B. Tech/ M.Sc/MCA/MS or equivalent
Minimum 60% at the bachelor's level in the disciplines specified above
is required.
Selection Process: Admission to M Tech (ICT) program will be based on
valid GATE score. Candidates for other PG programs will be selected
through an entrance test and/or interview at select cities. Detailed
procedure is available at DA-IICT website.
How to apply: A candidate can submit an application either online
(preferably) or offline. The application fee is Rs 800/- (online) and
Rs 1000/- if a candidate downloads the form and sends the hard-copy.
In both cases, the draft needs to be sent by courier/registered post.
Financial Assistance: Candidates admitted to M Tech would be eligible
to get Teaching Assistantship of Rs 7500/- per month. Candidates
admitted to PhD program will be eligible for a stipend varying from Rs
12000/- to Rs 25000/- per month.
